FROM STAFF REPORTS The Carlisle School picked the best possible day to play their best game of the season. Fredericksburg Academy picked the worst. The Chiefs scored a pair of goals less than five minutes apart in the second half and eliminated the Falcons' 2-0 in the LIS Division II state quarterfinals yesterday at FA. "They just played better than us," Falcons coach Karen Moschetto said, "and we just weren't ready to play today." Of her team's performance, Carlisle coach Meade Seiy said: "This was the best game they played all year." With the win, the Chiefs advance to the state semifinals Friday in Richmond.
