The voting is over, the ballots counted and decisions made. It is with deepest appreciation that I express my thanks to the great number of people who supported me in my effort.

To those who donated their time, their yards for signs, their advice, their donations, and their votes—thank you! Your kindness and encouragement has meant a great deal to my family and me.

Running for office is difficult, but knowing that there are people of such character in your corner is a blessing. I am proud of the honorable, issues-based campaign we waged together.

The issues confronting Stafford County are daunting, and those who face them deserve our best wishes of success.
