The election is over, and the people of Griffis–Widewater chose to keep Dana Reinboldt as their School Board representative. I respect that decision, extend her my congratulations, and wish her well in her new term.

I want to thank the many people along the way who encouraged me to run, donated their hard-earned money to my campaign, wrote very generous letters on my behalf, and gave me their precious time throughout the year. I will never be able to thank them and the people who voted for me adequately enough.

As we enter the holidays, let’s all give thanks for the many blessings we’ve received. Among mine this year is having met so many good, kind, and decent people over the past year.

Elections are about choice, and the people of Griffis–Widewater honored me with the privilege of being part of that choice this year. For that, I am profoundly grateful to you all.
