Police brief Date published: 11/28/2007
A Spotsylvania man who was shot in his left arm Monday night told police to stop pursuing the three men who invaded his home. First Sgt. Liz Scott of the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office said while the 41-year-old victim knew the men who shot him, he would only provide a nickname to police. Scott said police would continue to investigate, but expected much more of a challenge than normal because the victim would not cooperate. She said the victim is expected to be in good condition after being treated at Mary Washington Hospital. She said police first responded to the victim's home on Christopher Court around 7:30 p.m. Monday after he called 911 saying three men broke into his house, where he, his girlfriend and his 6-year-old daughter were. He told police that after he was shot, he jumped out of the window and ran to a neighbor's house to call police while his girlfriend and daughter hid in a bedroom. --Ellen Biltz
and I think this guy is the rat. As far as the girlfriend goes she must know more than she's saying so she not much better than the rat.
Spotsy should file charges against this moron for wasting valuable police resources....I find it hard to believe that a MAN would jump out of a window and run to a neighbor's house to call 911 and leave his girlfriend and child with three armed men! And if he did do that, then she needs to wise up and dump this moron!
He's endangering not only himself ((which is up to him)) but what about his girlfriend and daughter? I'd leave him if I was his girlfriend. And as far as his daughter goes, family should take her so her life isn't at risk anymore.
victim or not, he's impeding an investigation. There will be another shooting when he goes looking for revenge.
Pertaining to this fishy tale.
