Martha Ellen Pratt Taylor, 63, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Taylor of Fredericksburg and Lana Taylor of Tappahannock; three grandchildren; one brother, Robert E. Pratt of Caret; and five sisters, Virginia Henry of Chance, Rosie Upshaw of Port Royal, Louise Ackerson of Temple Hills, Md., Myrtle Beale of Capitol Heights, Md., and Mable Wright of Dale City. A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Port Royal, with the Rev. Joseph Dobbins officiating. Burial will be in Historyland Memorial Park, King George. The body may be viewed from noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Cedell Brooks Funeral Home, Port Royal, and one hour prior to the funeral Tuesday. Guest book available at brooksfuneralhome.com.
