Shenandoah trails closed for search
Manassas man missing in Shenandoah National Park since the weekend.

Shenandoah National Park Rangers continue to search for Jose Alfonso Martins, Jr., a 42 year old Manassas man. The search operations began during the morning on Saturday when his car was found in the park. His family reported him missing last Wednesday. Rescuers now plan to close a number of trails to continue the search.

Jose Martins Jr. is described as a male with black hair and brown eyes, 5’ 4” tall who weighs approximately 140 pounds. It is believed that he is wearing a dark blue ball cap with the words “Ocean City” printed on it.
