Date published: 4/14/2008

A second house fire in Stafford County in the last week causes problems for traffic and a local family.

Lieutenant Mark Stone of the Stafford Fire Department says the house off Poplar Road was not occupied when the blaze broke out yesterday afternoon. He says at appeared to have started in the back of the home.

Three adults and three children, all related, lived there and are temporarily without a home. The Red Cross will be assisting with clothing and shelter needs.

Last week a fire left a couple displaced off Truslow Road. Monday's blaze remains under investigation.
