PAVING >> I-95 South in Stafford
Night paving continues this week on Interstate 95 south in Stafford; expect traffic delays
Date published: 5/12/2008

By Kelly Hannon

NIGHT PAVING continues this week on Interstate 95 in northern Stafford County.

Workers will mill and pave a section of I-95 southbound between the Prince William County line and Exit 143 at Aquia/Garrisonville.

Work will start at 9 p.m. tonight.

Work will continue each evening through Thursday night, weather permitting.

One lane of I-95 will close at 9, and a second lane will close at 10.

All lanes will reopen by 4:30 a.m.

U.S. 1 south is suggested by the Virginia Department of Transportation as an alternate route to avoid delays.
