Louise E. Allen
Louise E. Allen, 89, of Stafford County died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Mary Washington Hospital. Mrs. Allen, born in Stafford, was a domestic worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Sr., and a brother, Randolph Johnson. Survivors include three daughters, Marjorie Banks and her husband, Everett, and Elaine Brown and her husband, Lewie, all of Stafford, and Cheryl Crittenden and her husband, Charles, of Fort Washington, Md.; a son, James Allen Jr. of Stafford; two sisters, Bernice Johnson of Stafford and Edna Andrews of Odenton, Md.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at noon Thursday, June 26, at Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) in Garrisonville, with the Rev. Larry Swanson giving the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body may be viewed from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Bailey Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
