Police brief Date published: 6/24/2008
A Manassas man told Culpeper town police that he was assaulted and robbed while waiting for a prostitute. Officer William Barnes found the 56-year-old victim bleeding from a head wound near The Depot on Commerce Street about 1 a.m. Saturday. According to Barnes, the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, gave several conflicting stories before telling the officer about the prostitute. He told Barnes he had been drinking at a local bar and went to The Depot to use a pay telephone. While there, the victim said a man approached him and asked if he needed a prostitute. The victim said he did and told Barnes he gave the man $30 for services to be rendered. He then waited for the prostitute. Instead, according to Barnes, the victim said the man returned with two other men, hit him in the head with a large rock and stole his wallet. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Andrew Terrill at 540/727-3444, extension 511. --Donnie Johnston
He gave $30 to someone he never met before for services of a prostitute that he never saw. Democrat or Republican, he sounds like he has a future in politics (throwing money at a problem without doing thorough research and then underfunding the program and being oblivious to negative consequences).
he has to be a democrat since the article didn't mention anything about him soliciting men for sex in a bathroom. lol
Sounds like a democrat.
