A dispute about her child's behavior landed a salon customer in jail Sunday, police said.
Stafford County Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said the incident took place about 2:10 p.m. at the Positive Image Salon on Dunn Drive in North Stafford.
According to Kennedy, the 45-year-old customer and a salon employee went to the back of the business after the employee complained that the child was being too loud.
Kennedy didn't know the age of the child or if it was a boy or a girl.
Witnesses told Deputy James Kingman that at some point, the mother yelled at the employee and pushed her in the face.
The two women began fighting and ended up on the pavement outside the building, Kennedy said. During the fight, the employee was bitten on the finger.
The bite was severe enough to require treatment at Mary Washington Hospital, Kennedy said.
Tracy Burton, 45, of District Heights, Md., was charged with malicious wounding and placed in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
Malicious wounding is a Class 3 felony that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Life, Proverbs 31:10 - 30 is virtually impossible to achieve, and you, like most "modern" woman took offense to it. Some actually try to do things that way and feel guilty for their failure. My more serious point is that this woman may have just been getting her nails done, but her complete lack of consideration for both the business and the other clients was clearly apparent. She had a "me me me" attitude, and it cost her. I suppose we could keep God out of that, but I felt there was a need (my opinion).

on the New Test. written to the church. This time, Grace
Administration. The OT was not written to us (this admin)
but is for our learning. I could go on but didn't work a Bible
lesson into my day or cleaning, cooking, and waiting hand
& foot on my husband. Better get back to work. I may end
up in hell. Please!! Grace, you've actually made me laugh
this morning!

I hardly find that selfish. Should she walk around feeling like
crap & not look good? Please, how about you go unshaven
for a few days? Or let your wife not get a hair cut? That
"god" attitude is selfish on your part. If the husband LOVES
the wife as stated in EPH. than he would want her to feel
good about herself. Taking time away from her family for a
little while is not ungodly - it helps to keep a W/M sane!!

Had this woman been a "Godly wife" as is prescribed in Proverbs 31: 10-31, this situation could have been avoided. Instead, she CHOSE to put her selfish desires above the needs of her house, her husband, and her children. She was also inconsiderate of others. God of course still loves her and will forgive her should she choose to ask for forgiveness, but she will still have to face the consequences for her actions.

parent regains control of the situation. My dad could stop
something before it happened with just a look. I don't
remember him raising a hand. I'm glad I learned from him --
it works. Sounds like someone needed to gain control of
