I loved Ferrante & Teicher, too!
Thank you for the nice words on the passing of Lou Teicher of "Ferrante & Teicher" fame ["Theme from the soul," Aug. 8]. When I was a child growing up in Brooklyn, my dad had met them through his work. He told them that he had To an impressionable youngster, that autographed photo was magic! I hung that up on my wall and, indeed, kept practicing. I still have that photo to this day, and reading the editorial brought a smile to my face (and made me run upstairs and look at that picture once again). How nice to be from Brooklyn and find someone in Virginia who remembers Ferrante & Teicher and comments on them--and makes that phase of my life come full circle. Debra Nay Spotsylvania
