HARTWOOD ROADS TO CLOSE FOR RUNNERS

Several roads in Stafford County will be closed to traffic on tomorrow morning so runners can complete the Wawa 10-Miler at Hartwood.

The event takes place from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. It begins at Curtis Memorial Park and follows a loop along public roads, which include Hartwood Road (State Route 612), Stony Hill Road (State Route 662), Cannon Knolls Drive, Countryside Drive, Poplar Road (State Route 616) and Shackleford Well Road (State Route 754).

The run is sponsored by the Stafford County Department of Parks and Recreation in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
