Spotsylvania CRIME SOLVERS

Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:

In the overnight hours of Aug. 27, an unknown suspect burglarized Bill's Service Center in the 5000 block of Plank Road. The suspect rifled through some office files before leaving (08-112181).

Between July 30 and Aug. 31, an unknown subject burglarized a home on Paynes Lane in Country Acres. The suspect punched holes in numerous walls causing $5000 in damage and stole the victim's work clothes (08-113728).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 31, a white 2006 Ford 500 four-door sedan with New York license plates, was stolen from a residence in Sawhill Boulevard. The vehicle was valued at $15,000. On Sept. 3, at 12:13 a.m., the stolen vehicle was spotted in the Estates of Lee Jackson off Old Plank Road. A witness saw the vehicle being driven down his road with two white male occupants. They stopped at a residence, and a third male was seen running from a yard and got into the stolen vehicle (08-114042).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 27, a blue 1997 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from the parking lot of a residence in Lee's Hill South. The next morning, the complainant noticed the Jeep had been returned with the ignition punched out (08-114319).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 27, a blue 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from the parking lot of Brittany Commons. The truck is valued at $20,000 (08-111874).

Between Aug. 27 and Sept. 2, a 2007 mini Bobcat excavator valued at $38,000, and the Brimar trailer it was on, were stolen from the 4900 block of Massapponax Church Road (08-114620).

Between Aug. 14 and Aug. 28, a blue-and-white 2002 Yamaha jet ski and a 2002 Load Rite trailer were stolen from private property on Ed's Road. The jet ski was valued at $3,500 (08-113358).

Between Aug. 24 and Sept. 1, suspects entered an unlocked shed on Wakeman Drive in Breezewood and stole a Toro brand lawnmower and two bicycles (08-114182).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 28, unknown suspects punched a door lock and broke a window to access two vehicles parked in the Ukrops parking lot. The suspects stole an MTX brand amplifier, a Polk subwoofer, Lanzar amplifier, two DVD monitors and a CD stereo (08-112577, 08-112574).

In the early morning hours of Aug. 29, an unknown suspect entered a locked car parked in the Hicks Mobile Home Park and stole a Magellan GPS unit and a Jensen DVD multimedia player, valued at $600 (08-112727).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 21, a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in Stonewall Estates and stole a silver Dell laptop computer. The victim's computer bag was later located in the rear of the subdivision near a pathway that goes to Raintree Subdivision (08-112483).

Between Aug. 26 and Aug. 30, a Beretta 32-caliber pistol was stolen from a vehicle on Lee Lake Drive in Lake Wilderness Subdivision (08-113713).

In the overnight hours of Aug. 29, a $40,000 2007 Ditch Witch cable plow was stolen from Fiber Technologies on Single Oak Road (08-114472).

Several vehicles were targeted at the VDOT Commuter Lot on Gordon Road between Aug. 27 and Sept. 2. Four victims reported tires slashed on their vehicles, and three victims reported their windows were broken out or their door locks punched. The suspects stole three stereos and several CDs (08-111953, 08-111956, 08-113402, 08-113415, 08-114698, 08-114666, 08-114697).

WANTED

Juan Antonio Garcia, 18, whose last known location was Spotsylvania, is wanted on charges of one misdemeanor count of entering property with the intent to damage, three misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one charge of felony destruction of property. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
