Patricia A. Holmes, 52, of Champlain died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital. Survivors include one son, John Murray of Champlain; one granddaughter; her mother, Rita Nelson Holmes; two brothers; and four sisters. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Antioch Baptist Church, Champlain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 454 Lloyd Road, Champlain, Va. 22438. Cedell Brooks Funeral Home, Port Royal, is handling arrangements.
