Colonial Forge High School Learn and Serve Holds second-annual Turkey Drive
Date published: 12/9/2008

The Colonial Forge High School Learn and Serve class challenged the school faculty and staff, students and parents to "Let's Stuff the Food Bank."

The second annual Turkey Drive for the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank was held the morning of Nov. 20. The Forge community's generous donations came to 1,215 pounds.

The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank was most thankful for the turkeys. As a matter of fact, the donated turkeys arrived just in time, as the food bank gave away its last turkey the evening before.
