Here are just a few of the things our current president did right
Here are a few of George W. Bush's major catastrophes: 1. He has kept us safe from domestic terrorist attacks since Sept. 11. 2. Bush's USA Patriot Act removed the walls that Attorney General Janet Reno imposed between the CIA and FBI, which prevented sharing of information. 3. He made major improvements to the intelligence community, improvements that are now being reversed by the Democratic Congress. These changes have allowed the CIA, FBI, and military intelligence agencies to put about 5,000 terrorists out of business. These are successes the media rarely reports. The primary reason for these successes is the use against terrorists of the same wire-tapping capability that is used to monitor organized crime. 4. He defeated Saddam's regime, which used WMDs to kill more than 300,000 of his own citizens. 5. He has turned a Middle East powder keg into a strong ally. 6. He initiated the No Child Left Behind Act, resulting in reading scores rising nationwide and, in some areas, cutting in half the gap between white and black students. 7. Until the Democratic Congress took over two years ago, the unemployment rate was far better than during the entire Clinton administration, and the deficit remained Had it not been for the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Charles Schumer, Charles Rangel, Harry Reid, John Dingell, Henry Waxman, Chris Dodd, et al., and Bill Clinton's "Fair Housing Act," not only would the economy not be in trouble, but it would be the best since before the collapse of the dot-com era. This is in spite of the costs of recovering from Sept. 11 and the Iraq war. The list is restricted only by the limit on the length of letters that can be submitted. Joseph Sucha Spotsylvania
ROFLMAO...stop, can't take it anymore.....LOL!!!!
and Smell the OIL. Bush has done NOTHING but kill Americans and put millions out of work.
You can try all you like to paint a pretty picture of bush, but when all you have to work with is oil and blood.that picture is not so pretty. Is IT ?
They gave the executive branch too much of their power
and even unconstitutional power. This is VERY dangerous.
Consider that in two months Obama will be able to act as a
king because the precedent has been set to let HIM
suspend Habeas Corpus. Congress granted THIS to BUSH
and we hopefully can get the cat back in the bag, but for
now, so can be scooped up, locked up and you can scream
all you want about your constitutional rights being violated
from a soundproof dungeon.
Loyalty can work both ways, especially when you're boxed
into supporting a negative policy. If it gets to the point
where you've only surrounded yourself with yes men,
cronies and sycophants who will only rubber stamp a bad
idea, sooner or later the house of cards will fall. This is the
genius of our Government: the checks and balances
between the three branches. There also needs to be
debate within each branch, especially the executive branch.
It SEEMS often with the Bush Admin, it was my way or the
highway
There was not a member of the National Socialistische
Deutsche Arbeiter Partei to be found in Germany. Unlike
June 1 1940.
The names you cite in your post are folks who either did not
have the courage to speak up if in fact they were "outraged
"while serving the President, or they manufactured their
outrage to monetize it. I suspect the latter since some wrote
books, ran for office and made the rounds on tv, radio, print
and cave drawings. To simplify it for you Mr. Mod, they saw
an opportunity and took it
