Britney Spears gets back on her feet with 'Circus'

Britney Spears has definitely struggled through the past few years. She has been on the front of almost every magazine, portrayed as an insane wash-up, has been married and divorced --and she's now the mother of two young boys, Sean and Jayden.

But has that stopped Britney from making music? You bet it hasn't. Spears is back, and due to the excellence of her new album, "Circus," it is obvious that she has been working hard at preparing for her comeback.

The majority of the songs on the album are catchy and extremely enjoyable to dance to. For variety, there are also a few slower songs--one of the ballads, "My Baby," is a song dedicated to her children.

However, the fast-moving dance tracks that Spears is known for are what make this album a complete masterpiece. The first track, "Womanizer," has been played continuously on many radio stations.

Recently, the title track, "Circus," has taken the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. "Circus" is one of the more interesting songs on the album. Listeners can certainly feel the passion and empowerment that Spears previously embodied on lyrics like "I'm like a firecracker, I make it hot" and "I'm like the ringleader, I call the shots."

Spears appears to have pulled it all back together on this latest album. With her new documentary, "Britney: For the Record," featured on MTV, the new album and new music videos, it's safe to say that America has its pop princess back.
