Velva M. Pickett
Velva Mastin Pickett of Woodford died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Bowling Green Health Care Center. She had retired from FMC and was a charter member of the Fredericksburg Seventh- day Adventist Church. Survivors include her husband, Franklin Pickett; two daughters, Celia Payne and her husband, Clinton, of Fredericksburg and Amelia Graninger of Spotsylvania County; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
