Velva Mastin Pickett of Woodford died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Bowling Green Health Care Center.
She had retired from FMC and was a charter member of the Fredericksburg Seventh- day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin Pickett; two daughters, Celia Payne and her husband, Clinton, of Fredericksburg and Amelia Graninger of Spotsylvania County; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home.
