Inauguration Day was terrific, thanks to VRE

I would like to express my gratitude to the employees of the Virginia Railway Express.

My family and I experienced an amazing day on Inauguration Day, and it was made only better by the professionalism displayed by the conductors and the assistants at the train stations.

From the time we got on the train at 5:20 a.m. until we returned at 6 p.m., they worked beyond any of our expectations. Everyone was cheerful and eager to be of assistance.

Thanks also to the volunteers at the "disabilities" area on the National Mall. Our group--with my brother, who is in a wheelchair--was able to be a part of history in relative comfort because of them.

It was one of the best days of my life. Thanks to all for their efforts.
