Brian Moran is tops among the Dems
I have had the high honor and privilege of meeting dozens of Democrats running for local, statewide, and federal office. This year, we have three excellent gubernatorial candidates vying for the Democratic Party nomination; however, I believe one among them rises to the top, possessing the personal attributes and bold, progressive solutions necessary to lead us through these challenging times. That's Brian Moran. As Brian so eloquently states on the stump, "Public service is not about the politicians, but is about the people we are fighting for." As the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, he has been on the front lines in the battle to increase the minimum wage and to create an earned income tax credit for Virginia's families; secure the largest investment in public education in Virginia's history; and protect our children from Internet sex predators through passage of Alicia's Law. There is no one else I would rather have fighting for Virginia than Brain Moran. Recently, Stafford Democrats met with great success, due in large part to the support we have received from Brian. With his help, the Stafford Board of Supervisors has for the first time flipped to a Democratic majority. As governor, Brian will work tirelessly to create green jobs; mandate that one-quarter of our energy comes from renewable sources; ban predatory lending practices; require that smart growth planning be a critical part of any comprehensive transportation solution; and ensure that every single child in Virginia is covered by health insurance. In these challenging times, one thing is clear: we need a governor who matches rhetoric with action. On June 9, please join me in supporting Brian Moran in the Democratic primary for governor. Marc Broklawski Stafford The writer is chairman of the Stafford Democratic Committee.
Instead of emphasizing the positive attributes of your candidate, Moran supporters dig in the garbage for worthless trash about his opponents. Accusations, not backed in FACT are dangerous. No wonder blog comments have to be carefully monitored and now shut down on one website. Moran supporters just won’t quit. Oh, I forgot, FACTS are not one of the strong points of the Moran campaign and his supporters. Anything goes, no matter how damaging to the party, so totally wrong for Virginia.
Blessed2, mistruths? AIG Execs aren't alone in cashing in, McAuliffe knows something about this - since he did something similar with Global Crossing. The only difference is that what McAuliffe did borders on being illegal. If his shady business dealings are an example of how he will govern, I'll pass on it.
A "yoyo" is someone that doesn't understand anything about services which shorten URLs. The URL points to a youtube video of McAuliffe.
The best candidate to beat McDonnell is Moran!
and it will be McDonnell. Republicans fear McAuliffe will be their opponent and they should. Mistruths here or anywhere on the internet regarding McAuliffe mean nothing. Come June 10 let the real campaigning begin. McAuliffe presents well and will leave McDonnell in the dust. McAuliffe stands for what Virginia needs and he isn't afraid to specifically address all the issues Virginians face and how he will govern. BTW, a "yoyo" is a person who cites a fake website http://tiny.cc/Hfgjb.
It is no wonder why the neocons took control of this country under McAuliffe's leadership. As Chair of the DNC he did an awful job. While McAuliffe was tearing dems down on a national level, Moran, Gov. Kaine and Sen. Warner were building them up on a statewide level. McAuliffe is one gaffe away from ruining any chances we have of winning in Nov. I just finished watching a youtube of McAuliffe tearing down Obama the day before he won the primary: http://tiny.cc/Hfgjb. McAuliffe is a complete yoyo!
I met Mr. Broklawski during the last campaign cycle. For the first time in my life, I worked for a Democratic - President Barack Obama. I have never observed an individual who worked as hard as Mr. Broklawski did and he truly inspired me to become more involved. I have been simply an observer, up until now, of the Democratic candidates for Governor. Mr. Broklawski has a great point when he refers to needing a candidate who matches "rhetoric with action." Mr. Moran is that candidate!
