Date published: 4/6/2009 James I. Minor James Isiah Minor, 85, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Retreat Hospital in Richmond. Mr. Minor is survived by his wife, Ellen Minor; his daughter, Linda Derricotte; his stepson, Leon Hicks; his stepdaughter, Merle Lewis; two devoted nephews, Claude W. Minor and Darryl Minor; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. James' family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 5, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 6, at the funeral chapel, with Elvis Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in H&L Brown Cemetery in Caroline County.
