James I. Minor
James Isiah Minor, 85, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Retreat Hospital in Richmond. Mr. Minor is survived by his wife, Ellen Minor; his daughter, Linda Derricotte; his stepson, Leon Hicks; his stepdaughter, Merle Lewis; two devoted nephews, Claude W. Minor and Darryl Minor; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. James' family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 5, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 6, at the funeral chapel, with Elvis Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in H&L Brown Cemetery in Caroline County.
