Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson of Spotsylvania, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Scott Johnson, to Sara Laureen Harding of Abingdon, Va., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leton L. Harding Jr. of Emory, Va. The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Emory, and is currently a senior at Emory and Henry College, majoring in mathematics education. The groom-to-be graduated in 2004 from Courtland High School, Spotsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Emory and Henry College. A July 25, 2009, wedding is planned.
