Caroline County was one of 32 communities from across the country invited to Tampa to compete as a finalist in the the National Civic League's All America Cites competition.

Communities ranging in size with a population from over a million to just under 4,000 compete against each other by an on stage presentation that identifies specific challenges in their communities and the solutions developed for those challenges.

A ten member judge's panel questions each community on the specifics of their presentation and on their written application.

Judges this year gave Caroline the award after it finished runner-up in the competition last year.
