BY STEPHANIE BOSCOVITCH

Name/ school/ grade: Morgan Eackles/ rising freshman/ Virginia Tech

What inspires you? Diversity and originality inspire me. Monotony is boring. Stand out and shake it up a bit!

If you could give a ninth-grader any advice, what would you tell them? Never lose sight of yourself.

What is your favorite food and why? Pita bread--you can eat it with anything.

What do your weekday nights consist of? Most weeknights I'm working, but if I'm off, you can find me at the barn riding my horse Hansel, at the gym, out running around my neighborhood or doing homework.

What is the craziest thing you've ever done? When I stole a shopping cart from the Bloom in Myrtle Beach.

Are you more of a newspaper or magazine person? I read the newspaper, but the fashion side of me loves magazines for the editorials.

What is the most important thing in your life right now? Being successful in all my undergrad classes in the next four years, because I'm determined to go to an awesome law school.

What are you most looking forward to this summer? Spending time with my friends and family before I leave for school.

Do you prefer text messaging or phone calls? If it's just a casual conversation or to ask a question, then text-- it's easier. But if it's something serious or conversation that's gonna have emotional toll on a decision, then definitely call.

Who is your idol? I don't really idolize anyone, but I like and respect women like Audrey Hepburn and Michelle Obama for the things they stand for and the positive image they portray.

What is your dream vacation spot? Anywhere but Fredericksburg--preferably with palm trees.

What do you think about the lyrics in rap music? I really respect rappers for what they have to say. I listen to a lot of Lil Wayne, and my parents always scoff at me for listening to "trash," but it's deeper than just the beats and slang.

What is your biggest accomplishment? I don't really look at the things that I've done and think, "Wow, what an accomplishment." I look at it like, "What can I do next?"

Stephanie Boscovitch is a rising senior at Riverbend High School.
