Joyce Dean Wheeler Woolfrey, 81, formerly of Spotsylvania County, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Manor Care, Silver Spring, Md.
The daughter of the late Emmett and Rooney Wheeler, she is survived by one son, Ronald Woolfrey and his wife, Marie, of Beltsville, Md.; son-in-law Cliften Bean Sr. of Jessup, Md; two grandchildren, Melinda Bean and Cliften Bean Jr., both of Jessup; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Brookes; and two brothers Reginald and Tom Wheeler, both of Spotsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Flady Woolfrey; daughter Brenda Bean and son Steven Woolfrey.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery, Gold Dale.
