Rick and Laurie Norman of Stafford County are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kayleigh to John Lavin IV, son of Leslie Leiberick of Portales, N.M., and the late John Lavin III. The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of North Stafford High School in Stafford. She is employed by GDC Contractors in Dumfries, Va. The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Farwell High School in Farwell, Texas. He is employed at Lees Hill Golf Club in Fredericksburg. An Oct. 31, 2009, wedding is planned.
