Katie L. Timmons
Katie L. Timmons of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the Woodmont Nursing Home after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, N.E. Timmons; three daughters, Sharon Burns of Richmond, Retsie Pearson of Bealeton and Judy Weeks of Rockbridge Baths; a son, Jimbo Burns of Richmond; two sisters, Gayla Osbourne of Fairview Beach and Thelma Nelms of Fredericksburg; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Ken Burns. The family is being served by the staff of the Mullins & Thompson Fredericksburg Chapel.
