Susan Mae Walker, 54, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday July 20, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Susan is survived by her three sons, Darrell Wright, James Wright and Markell Walker, all of Fredericksburg; her sister, Blanche Callahan and her husband, John, of Fredericksburg; her brother, Norris Wright and his wife, Charlotte, of Fredericksburg; a devoted friend, James Lucas Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Craig Walker; her parents, Josh Wright Sr. and Lillian Wright; her brothers Josh Wright Jr., Clarence Coleman Wright, Randolph Wright, Morris Sylvester Wright and Warren Lee Wright; and her sisters Carrie Fox, Lillian Louise Jones, Gloria King, and Pearl Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Found & Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral celebrating Susans life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 27, at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Lawrence Davies officiating.
