SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Church of the Messiah, Episcopal, 12201 Spotswood Furnace Lane, will celebrate two infant baptisms at the 10:30 a.m. service tomorrow. Refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall. The church Web site is churchofmessiah.org.

FREDERICKSBURG

St. George's Episcopal Church, will hold a forum tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. in Faulkner Hall on the just-completed 2009 Episcopal General Convention. Leading the discussion will be Ed Jones, who served as editor of Center Aisle, the Diocese of Virginia's daily opinion journal during the convention.

Community Baptist Church, 44 Lorenzo Drive, will hold a "Summer Splash and Sing" event today, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring singing, yard and bake sale, free food, children's games, crime prevention, first aid and more.

CAROLINE COUNTY

St. John Baptist Church, Milford, will hold a a youth ministry prayer breakfast today at 9 a.m. Youth revival will begin tomorrow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Lawrence Coles as guest preacher. The Rev. Marguita Burton will preach at 7 p.m. July 27 and the Rev. Leonard Spells July 28 at 7 p.m.

KING GEORGE COUNTY

ORANGE COUNTY

The Lake of the Woods Church, invites children who love to sing, be dramatic and enjoy performing to register for "Table For Five Thousand." Musical rehearsals are July 27-Aug. 1, 9 a.m.-noon in the worship center of the church. Performances will be held Aug. 2, at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. in the church worship center.
