"Attic treasures at yard-sale prices" will be offered Saturday on the grounds of the Inn at Westwood Farm, near Montpelier Station in Orange County. The "Clear Inns" yard sale is a fundraising effort by The Inns of Montpelier, an association of nine bed-and-breakfasts in the county. According to Jay Billie, president of the association, the yard sale will include items amassed over the years by the group's members. "Many bed and breakfasts change their interior appearances from time to time to freshen up their presentation, and like most people, put the replaced items in storage," he said in a press release. A percentage of the proceeds and any unsold items will be donated to Orange County Habitat for Humanity, which has just completed construction of its 24th house. For admission, a donation of one can of food or $1 is requested and will be donated to the Love Outreach Food Pantry in the town of Orange. Some of the items to be sold are kitchen tables, brass beds, china cabinets, rocking chairs, antique tables, coffee tables, light fixtures, brass lamps, flower vases, chandeliers, chairs, antique radios, dishes, glassware, new ceiling fans, kitchen prep tables and utensils, mirrors and a wide variety of rugs and cookbooks. The yard sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. No one will be admitted before 8 a.m. The rain date is Aug. 8. innatwestwoodfarm.com Robin Knepper: 540/972-5701
