Jones Lang LaSalle to do leasing in Fredericksburg area

Global commercial real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle will have a presence in the Fredericksburg area.

Paul Denton, who will be part of JLL's Richmond brokerage office, will be handling leasing activity for the firm in the Fredericksburg area. Denton had worked for GVA Advantis, which this month abruptly shut down its operation in the Fredericksburg area and beyond in the wake of sluggish leasing and sales in commercial real estate. Advantis' former agents have been scrambling to collect money owed from commissions and payroll.

Denton said he'll continue representing the clients he had with Advantis, which includes leasing at Fredericksburg's Central Park Town Center. Jones Lang LaSalle, which is publicly traded, has more than 30,000 people in 60 countries.
