Don't be fooled by scare tactics on Medicare!
I'm an AARP volunteer. Over the years, I've grown So when special interest groups started trying to scare me and other seniors with horrible things that would supposedly happen to my Medicare if health care reform passed, it touched People need to hear the good things that will happen when we pass real reform. For people in Medicare, health care reform will close the Medicare Part D "doughnut hole"; protect our choice of doctor; keep our premiums fair; hold down our health care and prescription drug costs; eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse; and improve the care that's received. None of the health care reform proposals being considered by Congress would cut Medicare benefits or increase out-of-pocket costs for Medicare services. Those who say that health care reform will hurt Medicare are just plain wrong. If we do nothing, more and more people would fall into the doughnut hole, fewer doctors will treat Medicare patients, and the wasteful spending would continue to threaten the financial security of the program. Don't be fooled by scare tactics. Rose M. Wesson Stafford
I quoted the letter everyone is arguing about then posted a link to an article where Obama says there will be $313 BILLION in cuts to Medicare/Medicaid.

Obama CANNOT overturn what the HR Bill dictates..YOU need to read HR Bill.. it states clearly Medicare cuts!!!
Are we talking about poles or polls?
A new Zogby poll to be released Friday reveals that President Obama's approval rating has hit a record low, with 45 percent of Americans giving him a positive job rating. Apparently soured on his costly economic schemes and a multi-trillion dollar plan that would nationalize healthcare,
