Medical Reserve seeking volunteers

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Medical Reserve Corps is seeking volunteers to be trained to assist in emergencies.

Upcoming training sessions are scheduled for this Wednesday and Sept. 17 at the Fauquier Health Department, Sept. 9 at the Orange Health Department, Sept. 10 at the Madison Health Department and Sept. 16, 24 and 28 at the Culpeper County Health Department.

The Medical Reserve Corps is associated with the Virginia Department of Health.

Anyone from Madison, Culpeper, Rappahannock, Orange or Fauquier counties who is interested in joining the program is asked to call 540/829-7350 (ext.132) or e-mail
