Calvin E. Peek
Calvin E. Peek, 81, of Rhoadesville died on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. Mr. Peek was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He had worked at the cellophane plant and also 10 years with Dupont Corp., both in Richmond, and had 33 years of service with the postal service. He is survived by his wife, LaRue Herndon Peek, three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Peek. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove. A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Brian Harfst officiating.
