Sen. Kennedy's dream 'shall never die'
Perhaps you never knew it, but the late Sen. Ted Kennedy has touched all of our lives in a most positive way. He cared deeply for Americans of all ages and means. He authored more than 2,500 bills, of which 500 became law. He fought for children's health care, for education, He championed legislation to bring about the end of apartheid rule in South Africa. He was a champion He reduced the voting age to 18, penned the Americans with Disabilities Act, increased the minimum wage, funded Meals on Wheels, brought about health care His dream was to bring health care to all Americans. It was the cause of his life, and it will be his proudest legacy. Perhaps the health care In his words, "the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." Thank you, Sen. Kennedy. Elisabeth Piatt Culpeper

One word sums it up. MURDERER! A ritch elite kills a woman due to drunk driving and only gets a minor "leaving the scene charge."
Reporting that the RNC didn't mention his name once during the entire convention (I wasn't aware you were present to verify this....never mind, just another fabricated "fact" from you...) had exactly WHAT to do with the topic at hand? Do you think Bush reads these and you somehow hurt his feelings? Did you think you hurt mine? Others? I'm impressed. For an ACORN operator, you certainly are witty!
I have been down to New Orleans once and I can agree with you that the State, as well as the City, could have done more. I will not argue that. However, the fish rots from the head down. I also that it was extremely laughable when Bush's excuse for not going to the RNC was a hurricane might be coming. What was even more funny, they NEVER mentioned his name one time during the entire process, nor did they mention Cheney's name. As bad as the left hated Bush, this had to cause him the worst pain.
