READY TO GROW: RAPPAHANNOCK FARM TOUR IS SET
Rappahannock Farm Tour set for weekend

More than 20 farms, orchards and wineries will participate in the Rappahannock County Farm Tour Weekend Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors can pick up tour maps, buy local products and listen to presentations at the Rappahannock Farmers Market at The Link community center (the historic Sperryville Schoolhouse) at 12018 Lee Highway in Sperryville.

The Link will serve as the starting point for the tour, which will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine.

Admission is a $5 donation per person, ages 16 and older.

On Friday evening, visitors may attend a special viewing of the new documentary "Fresh."

On Saturday evening, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will host a dinner and authentic barn dance at Greenwood Farm's Hill Top Home in Rappahannock's scenic Gid Brown Hollow.
