UMW--a precious resource for region
I attended the "Music Spectacular" at the University of Mary Washington on Sept. 26. Along with the rest of the large crowd in attendance, I was treated to a sensational display of musical entertainment. The students are to be congratulated for their splendid performances. Fredericksburg and its environs are so fortunate to have UMW in its midst. The faculty and administration are developing some outstanding talent. I recently joined Elder Study at UMW and am finding it very enjoyable. This university certainly gives back to the local community. Ed Burwitz Spotsylvania
