Mary Ann Baron
Mary Ann Baron, 82, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009. Mary Ann was born in Louisville, Ky., and raised in Dallas, Texas. She met and married her husband of 52 years, Arnold, in Denver and moved to the Washington area in 1959. Mary Ann was an artist, enjoying watercolor and sculpture. She traveled the world and worked in the antiques business most of her life, and loved collecting rare and beautiful things. Mary Ann was known as a fun, creative and independent woman who had many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold. Survivors include her sister, Jeannie Poff; four children and their spouses, Jim and Patty Baron of Locust Grove, Dave and Debbie Baron of Cape Cod, Mass., Paula and Gary Pinkerton of Cleveland, Ohio, Rick and Andrea Baron of Nevada City, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. The family will have a private celebration of her life.
