WRECK ON U.S. 29 KILLS TWO PEOPLE

Two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 29 in Fauquier County on Friday morning, state police said yesterday. The first vehicle ran off the highway to the right, struck the second vehicle and overturned, Sgt. Thomas Lee said. The accident happened about 6:15 a.m. on a divided, four-lane stretch of U.S. 29, two miles south of State Route 744.

The victims, Brian Thomas Iannarelli, 23, of Bealeton and Sara Christine Beckel, 26, of Warrenton, were riding in separate vehicles. Lee could not say who was in which vehicle or which vehicle initiated the accident.
