David C. May
David Call May, 63, of Fredericksburg died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at MCV Hospital in Richmond. Mr. May was a lifelong resident of Fredericksburg. and had graduated from James Monroe High School. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and had been employed for more than 25 years at PermaTreat. Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. May; his sons, Jimmy Byrd and his wife, Cassie, and David May, all of Fredericksburg; his daughters, Tara McMillan and her husband, Scott, of Fredericksburg and Jennifer Hendrickson and her husband, Matthew, of Spotsylvania County; two sisters, Norma Groves and her husband, Junior, of Stafford County and Marie Sullivan and her husband, Dennis, of Fredericksburg; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman C. and Charlotte Graves May. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
