GOP will keep business in and BPOL out

We now have a very important job of electing half of Stafford's Board of Supervisors. The current majority has done a fantastic job of moving our county backward the last two years.

The Democratic majority has voted to give themselves a 25 percent pay raise, disband the Transportation Committee, erode property rights, and pass the BPOL tax, which many counties are now getting rid of because of resulting negative business effects.

The Republican candidates oppose the BPOL tax. They will not impose additional monetary burdens.

Two years ago, our teachers were the highest paid in the region. Republicans understand that Stafford needs to attract the best teachers if we want to have the best schools.

The Republicans will also work to improve our transportation infrastructure and restore our Comprehensive Plan, which guides the future development of our county, to be more commercially friendly. A booming commercial sector will reduce the tax burden on homeowners.

Vote for Susan Stimpson, Paul Milde, Mark Dudenhefer, and Gary Snellings.
