FREDERICKSBURG
The City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St. Council members will hold a public hearing on raising the personal-property tax from $2.99 to $3.40 per $100 of value. The Planning Commission meets Wednesday at 4 p.m. at City Hall. SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Holbert Building on Courthouse Road. The School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Administrative Services Building, 8020 River Stone Drive. Among the items on the agenda is an update on the elementary school scheduling initiative that began this school year. STAFFORD COUNTY The Agricultural Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Conference Room A/B/C of the County Administration Building. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the board chambers of the County Administration Building. The Purchase of Development Rights Committee meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the county administration conference room, located in the County Administration Building. CAROLINE COUNTYThe School Board holds a special meeting at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Services Center auditorium in Milford. The Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Services Center auditorium in Milford. The board will discuss a request to allow federal inmates stay at Peumansend Creek Regional Jail. Two meetings about Phase II of the Dawn Wastewater Project will be held, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dawn Progressive Center. ORANGE COUNTYThe Board of Supervisors meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Gordon Building, 112 West Main St., Orange. The board will discuss Urban Development Area requirements and the composition of the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Town of Orange Community Center, 235 Warren St., Orange. The commission will hold a public hearing on the rezoning application for the Uptown North Orange TND (Round Hill). GORDONSVILLEThe Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Town Hall council chambers.
