GORDONSVILLEThe Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Town Hall council chambers. The council will consider the establishment of a historic overlay district, an increase in water rates and a council vacancy.

The Town Council holds a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday on the third floor of the Municipal Building 400 S, Main St.
WESTMORELANDThe Planning Commission meets at 3 p.m. Monday at the A.T. Johnson Alumni Auditorium, 18849 Kings Highway, Montross. It will begins its review of by-right and special-exception land uses, which was prompted by a request by the Board of Supervisors to make schools in agricultural districts subject to a special exception. Currently, schools such as an O'Gara tactical training facility are allowed by right in agricultural districts.
The School Board meets at 6 p.m. Monday at the Roane Center, 141 Opal Lane, Montross.
COLONIAL BEACH
The Town Council meets at 6 p.m. Monday at Town Center to consider a draft agreement with the School Board concerning school finances.
