Aquia center was an eyesore before Milde

As a U.S. Army combat veteran and an Aquia Harbour resident, I'm proud to support Paul Milde.

Paul has brought together a wide variety of people to develop solutions to the challenges we face. Nowhere was this more evident than in his support for the redevelopment of Aquia Town Center.

Four years ago, it was a ghost town. Now it will contain new apartments, shops, and a movie theater. We may even get a grocery store. It's truly a mixed-use facility that will take traffic off of our roads and improve our quality of life.

Paul worked with local and state officials to get five miles of new power lines placed underground. He led the drive to turn Government Island into a publicly accessible park, with the result that a new bridge will span Austin Run so that Aquia Harbour residents can access the trail and boardwalk to the park.

Please re-elect Paul Milde.
