Emma Jones
Emma Louise "Weeze" Jones, 65, of Tappahannock departed this life Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, in a Newport News hospital. She is survived by her husband, Earl T. Jones Sr., of Tappahannock; two sons, Vincent P. Johnson of Richmond and Earl T. Jones Jr. of Tappahannock; one sister, Pauline Jones of Dunnsville; and one brother, Lewis T. Johnson of Richland, Wash. A viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Angel Visit Baptist Church, Dunnsville, with the Rev. Dr. Carla Lightfoot, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
