Stafford authorities have tentatively identified one of the two suspects in a home-invasion robbery Monday.

Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said police are looking for a man believed to be named Daquan Fortman, who is about 21 and was last seen in Montgomery County, Md.

Police said two men broke into a home in the Garrison Woods apartment complex early Monday afternoon carrying handguns. They tied up a woman and her two daughters--ages 8 and 3--with duct tape and put them in a bathroom. They stole jewelry and electronics, and then left.

Witnesses saw a car leaving, and police stopped the car later that day in Prince William. Some of the stolen property was in the car, but the suspected robbers were not.

Fortman is described as black, between 5 feet 9 and 6 feet tall with dreadlocks or cornrows. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray New Balance sneakers and a black North Face jacket.

The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing blue jeans and blue gloves.

Anyone with information about Fortman or the other suspect is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 540/658-4400, Detective Chris Cam-eron at 540/658-4711 or Crime Solvers at 540/659-2020.
