Maggie O. Tucker

Maggie Oliva Tucker, 83, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of Chancellor Baptist Church. She had worked as a seamstress for Rappahannock Sportswear.

Survivors include her daughter, Vera Mozingo and her husband, R.B., of Spotsylvania County; her son, James Randolph Tucker and his wife, Sandra, of Miramar, Fla.; her grandchildren, Melissa Thomson and her husband, George, of High Point, N.C., Kelly Nowicki and her husband, John, of Tampa, Fla., and Amanda Stegall and her husband, Joshua, of Spotsylvania; and her great-grandchildren, Lyndsey Corley, Ryan Corley, Madison Stegall, Nathan Stegall and Stephen Mozingo.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. Eric F. Goforth and the Rev. Clarence Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.
